Sailboats do this all the time.

Here in coastal South Carolina you see lots of bigger outboard boats filling up with that non-ethanol before they head to the landing. Alcohol sitting for long time in 100 gallon tanks can cause separation of water and ethanol. I also use that in my mower and any gas powered lawn equipmment.
