Why isn't the General Altimax RT43 3PMSF rated?

At TireRack, they do ice tests on the ice rink. I think this allows to have most of the variables to be decently controlled. Ice temperature, ambient temperature, how you polish the surface, etc. do you know what kind of snow is used for 3PMSF cert? Would make night and day difference.

Why isn't the General Altimax RT43 3PMSF rated?

Maybe because RT43 doesn't perform as great on ice? If we look at the TireRack's winter measurements: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/chartDisplayWinter.jsp?ttid=215 and https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/chartDisplayWinter.jsp?ttid=243 then, among other things, one can see that RT43...

How many people are running oil filters for multiple intervals?

Running Fram Ultra for 2-3 intervals (about 5-7k each). Not worrying at all about changing 85-90% of oil instead of 90-95% - I believe there is no real difference.

Rotella T6 API CK-4 ok in my car?

I find the absence of "/SN" a little bit hard to ignore. This oil is not certified for gasoline engines, it implies. The statement about CK-4 being backward compatible with CJ-4 is true only in the context of diesel engines. It doesn't really apply to gas engines, sewing machines, etc.

Unlikely that new bottles will appear on the WM shelves tomorrow morning. Week or two later, maybe.
