    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

Looks like these are now available at Canadian tire as well. They are $11.50. Pretty cheap. Maybe I’ll pick a couple up to cut open ahead of time and have one ready to go.

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

Yea it really sucks up here sometimes for parts and pricing. I can order those from parts geek, parts avatar or rock auto though for about $15 plus shipping.

Great looking filter but kinda pricey up here.

Not a fan of purolator with all the issues I’ve had and seen with them.

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/gen-3-coyote-fram-tg10575-10k-kms.374110/ If you look at my last tough guard on this engine it held up much better. But I don’t think it saw as much winter duty. It also had more miles/kms but less hours. But the pleats didn’t fold over near the join in...

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

I cut one open before and posted it here. A virgin filter. For this application (FL-500s equivalent) it has the composite core. The older modular (FL-820s) they still have the metal core. I’ll see if a couple months how the FL-2121 looks on another truck. I’ll also have the new style 6.7...

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

They are pretty cheap for me here. Half the price of a Fram Ultra that I typically use. I like the construction of the Wix XP(other than the efficiency rating), Amsoil Ea and the Royal Purpe. But they aren’t easy to get where I’m at and are pretty pricey. The motorcraft ones are easy and cheap...

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

It sure is. I was surprised to see that. This was used for about 6 months and saw temps of -40 at times. And a lot of rpms other times when it was nice out. I’m impressed that it didn’t tear. But not overly impressed with it overall. I do like the e core style of the new motorcrafts which is why...

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

Yea this was only 5k miles on the tough guard. I put on a new motorcraft fl2121. It’s not a long interval filter either in my opinion. Most likely will change the filter mid interval for this next one.

    Fram tg10575 Ford Coyote

This is from my personal truck. 2018 Ford F150 5.0 which is tuned and has a mustang intake manifold and exhaust. Basic setup but it sees 7500+ rpm often and makes 420 rwhp. The fram tg10575 held up really well considering, there is one wide pleat but it didn’t tear. Oil used was Liqui Moly...

    Motomaster MOPH2 (FL820s equivalent) 6k kms Ford V10

Used in my 2013 Ford E450 cube van with the 6.8L V10. 6k kms. One year of use and a lot of idling. Motomaster (Canadian Tire) moph2 with Mobil 1 5w30 synthetic. I put in a Fram Ultra and Supertech 5w30 synthetic for the next interval. The filter looks fine other then a sloppy glue job.

    Fram PH2 virgin cut

Here is a virgin fram ph2. It was an extra as the vehicle it was for decided to eject the thrust bearing in a ford 3v 5.4 rendering the vehicle useless and it was scrapped. Bonus pic including some filter media from a motorcraft fl820s to compare. Adding up the filter media the fram has a fair...

    Motorcraft FL-2121

    Here’s a comparison side by side of the 500s and the 2121. 48” x 3.5” for the 2121 and 48” x 3” for the 500s.
