Companies nowadays often roll out product changes solely to increase profitability, and or to remain compliant with “evolving” regulations.
Changes to established, effective products may be couched in terms of product quality, but the improvement is often not...
More likely those dates are when each version of the label was revised/released. Would be in use until the next revision is released.
Manufacturing date, if provided, would likely be printed directly on to the container, not on the label.
Entirely based on a YouTube video by Torque Test Channel, I bought a set of HyperTough (Walmart) metric flex-head ratcheting wrenches. Wanted something like this for a while, finally got a set.
That's a good point, the name is deceiving. The technical specs make it clear, and common sense should indicate, the fluid isn't just good for hybrid cars, it'll work in any application for which it meets the spec regardless of power source.

FWIW, the ones I saw were not in the Automotive section. The store had moved hundreds of filters to a dedicated clearance aisle on the other side of the store.
I still don't know if this is a general clearance or not, but they were dumping filters for common still-in-production applications...
