Autolites. I bought them at AZ, Oreilly, and Advance because no one had more than 5 or 6 in stock. They were all $10.99 a piece +tax at all 3 places.

I agree on both points. I just replaced the plugs on my hemi myself and just the plugs were over $200 for all 16.

In the pics it must have been that the one on the left is turned a bit, I looked at them again this morning and they are pretty uniform, ground straps intact. The CEL did turn itself off though, so I will go ahead and replace the remaining 14 my next day off.

I hadn’t noticed the ground strap. In the pic it looks like the left plug rolled up a little bit. I kept the ones I took out abd will definitely reexamine and post more pics tomorrow.

I will try that as that could possible trigger a misfire as well. I can’t really determine wear with these iridium plugs. Do these look worn enough to trigger a CEL? I know they aren’t the originals.

I haven’t used fuel additives in it since I’ve had it. None detectable over the past couple years I’ve had it. Oil was changed at 5k intervals until recently when through a job change where it mostly does short trips now.

I wonder how we were ever able to get an engine over 100,000 miles with regular conventional oil.

I’m just waiting on the “ride a bike” crowd to appear with no further advice related to the original question about oil.

MDS comes on at all temperatures. As soon as the parameters are met it activates. I’ve had it come on almost straight out of the driveway.

Also don’t really want to be consistently burning month old gas either.

Please read a couple posts up. There are reasons I choose to drive rather than walk or bike.
