    thicker oil for Subaru Wrx?

-I dont like using "resource/energy conserving" oils. Me and the car like the slightly thicker 0w40 than the old m1 5w30, but I still feel a 5w45 (lol) would be better than the 0w40.

    thicker oil for Subaru Wrx?

I was thinking about the M1 5w50 (supposedly spec'd for porche, vw, Mercedes, Bmw, Lexus), M1 hm 10w40 or maybe the turbo diesel 5w40. For some reason I feel a slightly thicker oil could be a good thing... I dont really plan on going past 4k mile oci no matter the oil used. I "try" to do it...

What is the best oil for my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT

I've had good results with Mobil 1 0w40 euro. I never have a problem finding it at Walmart, for the same price as the lesser Mobil 1 oils. I'd highly recommend it over their regular 5w30.

    thicker oil for Subaru Wrx?

Hello Bitog, I had a quick question about thickening the oil in my 2005 Wrx stg 2 with stock ej205 engine and stock td04 turbo. (yes, I know, we all hate oil questions) A little of a back story. Before I bought my Wrx I had done a bunch of reading online and noticed a lot of people complaining...

    05 Wrx. Which Amsoil?

Why would the Full Saps Euro 5w40 be better than the mid Saps Euro 5w40? Would Mobil 1 Turbo diesel truck 5w40 be better to use for top offs than the Amsoil?

    05 Wrx. Which Amsoil?

Sometimes its hard to find the M1 0w40 Euro in single qt bottles (for topping off), and I have a buddy that is an Amsoil dealer so I can always get it from him, at his price. Although it is slightly more than the M1, it is easier for me to get. I usually dont have a problem finding the Mobil1...

    05 Wrx. Which Amsoil?

So are there any downsides to "mixing" two different good synthetics? (topping off M1 euro 0w40 with Amsoil euro 5w40) Why would their full saps 5w40 be better for this particular engine than their mid saps 5w40? Ive read quite a few people saying that the Mobil1 Euro 0w40 is actually better...

    05 Wrx. Which Amsoil?

Hello bitog. I have a 2005 Subaru Impreza Wrx. Intake, turbo inlet, intercooler y pipe, Up pipe, Down pipe, Catback, Cobb stage 2 tune. I like to drive my car hard from time to time, and I also love my car to death. Therefore I would like a good oil. I have heard 5w30's can be bad for these...

I appreciate the options given, but 99% of them don't have the 23psi bypass valve.

23psi bpv oil filter for WRX?

I'm not hung up on the size. Same size as oem Subaru blue filter right? IF I can find the correct To Ro filters before my next oil change I will buy those. IF one of the other Subaru Tokyo Roki filters (that seem to still be bought from the dealer) would work perfect, I would consider those...
