Hey guys, Life situations have changed and I am looking for oils that can give me the longest change interval. I drive around 220kms a day (2 110 km trips, 100km on highway, 10 city per trip, no traffic). I picked up 0w20 amsoil SS for my 2006 pontiac vibe (1zz-fe engine). Would it be safe to...

mine is 2006, it still says 5w30 in the manual (ow30 for cold climates) If I can get away with running 0w20 would that give me better mileage?

so the 30 weight is too thick?! should I drain it? In the owners manual it says 0w30 synthetic is recommended for cars with more "rigorous" use (not exact words but something along those lines)

thats what I thought, maybe change the filter at 8k and oil+filter at 16k?

it really varies, but last week I did 1000kms... I expect to normally put on 400 - 600 kms a week for the next 8 months.
