Yes the oil return line needs the turbo to come off to get at it, I'm going to replace it when I do the turbo upgrade, some people like to use the dorman metal one but if the oem plastic lasts 100k+ I don't see any reason to use dorman stuff, they don't usually make stuff that lasts
Yeah this one's only had a few coolant parts needed. In 2020 it had its first water outlet housing at 100k miles along with the surge tank hose.
Recently I had to Jerry rig that turbo coolant line in front of the engine that has the compression fitting that leaks, I was able to slice off...
You hit the nail on the head perfectly there, I tell everyone if they aren't able to work themselves they're not good cars but thankfully I'm able to do my own work for the most part. I'm not the most skilled mechanic but I have successfully done the brakes, wheel bearings front and back, the...

Yes this intake does have slightly higher intake temps compared to the stock box but it's got a heat shield and draws from the factory funnel right below the filter.

On top of that my insurance agent advised me...
It is slower than a bicycle without the turbo lol, the reason I know is because once my wastegate arm popped off due to a bad C clip and it was a turd!
I was just guessing based off my mass airflow readings, stock I peak at 700 CFM and with all my mods when it's not really hot I peak in the 1100 CFM range, so if it's 138 HP stock and I'm flowing 1.5X airflow that's my ballpark.
Mods below
-BNR PRO Tune @23 psi
-BNR downpipe
-BNR Forge WGA...
Yes many people like to use them metal parts, the metal valve covers are usually problematic, the metal water outlet housing is hit or miss depending on the machine quality and still recommended to buy oem gaskets, but RacerX fabrication makes a really nice cnc one labeled as sonic coolant neck...
