I have let my Sierra set for 6-7 weeks at a time and the only thing that has happened it the battery has gone dead twice now. I try to start it at least one a week now to keep the battery going. I use Valvoline Dura Blend or Synpower. It would take me close to a year to get 3,000 miles on it.
