    Yes. But even when I gave the worst case imaginable, where the polymer is totally unwound and stretched straight, and it's still only 3 microns long in that example. And as far as I know, the polymers in question wouldn't behave in such a manner in the real world.

    Yes both the primary and secondary O2 sensors are the heated type on these Hondas. Gosh...do people actually try to use the non-heated type to save a buck? You just gave me another reason not to let some goober mechanic touch my vehicles with a ten-foot pole.

    Chalk up another failure to M1 15W-50 EP. I believe your application is really calling out for the proper grade of RedLine or equivalent high performance oil. I'd also send a sample off to Terry and get his recommendations.
