I agree with a previous post: check oil temp with an IR thermometer. It would help to confirm that you are probably fine with the 0w20. Its a good tool to have anyway.

I have both the factory Mopar spray in on one truck, the plastic Mopar in the other truck. I prefer the plastic. Easier to clean, easier when you have to slide something in/out. Just personal preference.

One more thing: you can always add the trailer brake controller after the fact. ~$200 on ebay, plug and play except you will need to have a dealer program the computer to recognize the brake controller. It was easy to install.

Why is 5w40 Rotella okay for the Cummins 6.7 w/ DPF in the Ram 2500/3500/4500? 15w40 was approved prior to 2019. Are heavy duty DPFs less susceptible to perm damage from non low-SAPS oil than the light duty DPFs?
