Does Mobil 1 0w40 REALLY clean?

To be fair, it wasn’t a very welcoming reply when accusing of him of being a troll for asking this question on a particular oil that has been touted multiple times on this forum as a good off the shelf “cleaning” oil. People just need to get their egos in check a bit more online, talk to them...

    Oil + filter hoarders

lol, you know Walmart could have just cancelled the order and called it a pricing error right? it happens all the time, especially on such a large order, if it was an error on their end, I highly doubt they would have shipped out such a large order and taken that loss.

    Oil + filter hoarders

Wow! If I found a deal like that on the right oil, i would jump on it too lol. I would also just resell it and make some money too

Anyone still using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum?

I find way too many reasons to go to that **** store lol. Recently got some of their OEPlus oil on sale and doubled up on some of their offers to get more Canadian Tire Money. $35 for the oil, got 2 jugs and a filter. $22 back in Canadian Tire Money!

Has Mobil 1 ESP (5w30) priced themselves out of the market?

Yea for me, I am waiting on a sale for the motomaster OEPlus 0w30 European which seems to be basically identical to the Euro Lx as shell makes this oil. Generally goes on sale cheaper than the Pennzoil

First store brand oil you used?

Honestly always used a named brand synthetic until last month I decided to give Motomaster OEPLUS synthetic a try since it seems to be rebottled pennzoil platinum. Next I’ll be giving their 0w30 a try

2020 Dodge Caravan - 10,000 km / month delivery van

With 30k intervals, I would get the fram ultra. Available at Canadian tire, one of the best off the shelf filters out there and good for extended drain intervals. And yes, transmission on these don’t last that long, had a 2012 before and had it replaced twice! So on its 3rd tenant by 220k when...

Low Mileage Vehicle with PP. Use oil past a year?

Considering how cheap it is to do an oil chance once a year, I don’t see a point in skipping it. Better safe than sorry

Any reason NOT to buy the Euro version?

It seems the Canadian tire variant of the euro LX is nearly identical as it’s made by shell as well so might keep an eye out for when it’s on sale as it should be even cheaper.

Any reason NOT to buy the Euro version?

I’m i was looking at that OePlus version as well, SDS though isn’t quite the same as the pennzoil version but close. Wasn’t sure how close the additive packs were either I’m currently running their OEPLUS 5w30 domestic version in my hemi this summer and zero hemi tick, very quiet with this oil...

Any reason NOT to buy the Euro version?

Man I gotta stop reading these forums.. now I need to go buy some Euro flavours of my current oils lol. PP Euro Lx 0w30 for my hemi Durango sounds tempting Though don’t see any euro versions of 0w20 at my Canadian tire here for our 3.6
