I use Amsoil Universal ATF in my '04 4Runner without any issues whatsoever. The transmission shifts smoother and seems to be a little quieter than with the T-IV fluid. Another good choice would be the RLI Bio-Synthetic ATF.
Borg Warner sold their manual transmission division to Transmission Technologies Corporation (TTC Automotive). They most likely make the replacement.

It's an expensive oil that produces ho-hum results. What's to disagree about. I used it for a while and gave it a fair shake but could not get good results. Cost/Performance isn't there.
Nope, haven't asked. I would think that at the very least a quick three line email with, "Hey I'm xxxxx your Amsoil sponsor. Great to have you on board, I'm here to help so drop me a line if you need anything." followed by some contact info would be nice.

There are so many good one's already on the market; They could resell Quadringa Motorsports (previously ProSpeed) GS610, it's one of the highest performing and cost effective brake fluids available today.
Gotta be a little careful saying this. Not all brake fluids are compatible even though they carry the same DOT rating. Two that come to mind are AP racing and Castrol SRF. They are both DOT 4 fluids but do not play well with others. Both manufacturers recommend against mixing with other brake...
