Can anyone explain the differences between carquest premium filters? I looked up my truck (21’ ram 1500) in advanced website and they list 2. Same general part number however the higher priced offering has HD at the end.

What makes that theory better? Having a 5 or 0w just means it’s thinner at colder temperatures. As soon as the oil heats up even slightly they’re the same. If anything wouldn’t that help during a first start? Thinner oil circulating faster?

Is the euro that much more superior to the other 3 variations of their normal PCMO? What would make it a better option? I see the other 3 “meet or exceed dexos” but the euro of course doesn’t show that as it’s not technically produced for that reason

In the past the Fram ultra always seemed to be a top contender. I was reading an article where there was some skepticism regarding a “new” Fram ultra and how not so great it is compared to the old one. Is this true? Are they not so great anymore? What is the top 3 go to filters these days?
