There may be an extra 3qts they ran through the transmission to get all the old fluid out. Either that or they overcharged you.
i do level check like manual said warmed atf 122f then open level plug the drain was 200ml until steady this stream
Not a surprise to see more ATF used during a Flush
i do normal drain of 4.2q and add 5q then drive for 15 minutes to reach 122f and open the level check bolt while engine on the drain becomes steady thin after 200ml out so the level right now inside is 10.4q while manual 7.7q for atf amount it kinda confused the shift is quick responding quite operation and no leak or overheating sign
